"intro": "<p><a href=\"/artists/cy-gavin/\" title=\"\">Cy Gavin</a> has been chosen to participate in the <a href=\"https://www.operadeparis.fr/en/info/a-unique-artist-residency-in-the-heart-of-the-palais-garnier\" title=\"\">PROJECT 12 artist residency at the Palais Garnier</a> in Paris for the month of July 2025. To mark the 150th anniversary of the famed Parisian opera house, the Paris Opera and Arop (Friends of the Paris Opera) have launched PROJECT 12, a unique artist residency that welcomes one artist to the Palais Garnier each month throughout the year. Fully immersed in the life of the Paris Opera, artists have the opportunity to draw inspiration from its daily rhythms, attend rehearsals, and engage with the dancers, singers, musicians, and craftspeople who keep this emblematic institution alive. During their residencies, the artists will create exclusive pieces inspired by their experiences that will be auctioned in early 2026.</p>",
