Donna De Salvo on Andy Warhol

In conjunction with the retrospective Andy Warhol—From A to B and Back Again, on view at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, through March 31, 2019, Donna De Salvo, the museum’s senior curator and exhibition organizer, will discuss Warhol’s career, legacy, and enduring relevance in the twenty-first century. The talk will delve into lesser-known aspects of the artist’s career, including his groundbreaking experiments in film, his engagement with new technologies, and his sustained interest in abstraction.
