This online benefit auction, hosted by Sotheby’s for the Iovine and Young Center for High School Education, features eleven donated works by contemporary artists including Jennifer Guidi and Ed Ruscha. The Iovine and Young Center is part of the Los Angeles Unified School District, and all proceeds from the sale will directly support its educational programming and contribute to the advancement of its impactful initiatives.

Join Phaidon and the Dallas Museum of Art to celebrate the publication of Great Women Painters. This survey, which explores the work of over three hundred women painters spanning five centuries, champions a more diverse history of art, showcasing both well-known historical figures and contemporary emerging artists. Jennifer Guidi and fellow artists Tschabalala Self, Genesis Tramaine, and Lisa Yuskavage will discuss their practices and reflect on artists and mentors—past, present, and future—in a conversation moderated by Anna Katherine Brodbeck, senior curator of contemporary art at the Dallas Museum of Art.

2020 Benefit Auction

The nonprofit visual art space LAXART is hosting a benefit auction, featuring works by Katharina Grosse, Jennifer Guidi, and Ed Ruscha. Proceeds will help the organization continue its mission to promote emerging and under-recognized talent and engage with key issues of our time through exhibitions, publications, and public programs. Jennifer Guidi: Heliocentric is available for online reading from April 22 through May 21 as part of Artist Spotlight: Jennifer Guidi. Her first exhibition with Gagosian, Heliocentric featured fourteen luminous paintings with surfaces that oscillate between color and texture. Images of these works, as well as installation views of the exhibition, are accompanied by an essay by Stuart Krimko in this accompanying publication.

The second floor, the Library, will house an additional selection of limited-edition books, publications, and catalogues raisonnés.
