Kenturah Davis

Kenturah Davis is an artist working in Los Angeles, California and Accra, Ghana. In drawings, textiles, sculpture, and performances, she uses text as a point of departure to explore the fundamental role that language has in shaping how we understand ourselves and the world around us. Davis earned a BA from Occidental College and an MFA from the Yale University School of Art, and was an inaugural artist fellow at NXTHVNHer work has been included in institutional exhibitions in Africa, Asia, Australia, and Europe.
