In conjunction with the exhibition Christo: Air at Gagosian, Grosvenor Hill, London, artist and stage designer Es Devlin joins Vladimir Yavachev, director of projects for the Christo and Jeanne-Claude Foundation, for a conversation. Their exchange revolves around the first-ever presentation of Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s large-scale indoor installation Air Package on a Ceiling. Conceived in 1968 but never realized, the luminous form belongs to a series that renders its invisible subject tangible.
